ONE enhances EL2 Service for Egypt–Lebanon Service EL2

Ocean Network Express (ONE), one of the world’s leading container shipping lines, has announced an enhancement to its Egypt - Lebanon 2 (EL2) service, aimed at significantly improving trade connectivity between key Mediterranean ports.

Changes in the EL2 Service?

The EL2 service, which originally operated on a biweekly rotation connecting ports across Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, and Greece, is being upgraded to better serve customers, particularly shippers moving cargo to and from Beirut, Lebanon.

New routing for the service -
The EL2 service will have a weekly loop of Damietta ↔ Beirut ↔ Damietta.

The service enhancement is scheduled to commence with the vessel MV Egy Sky V080, with ETA g at Damietta on 9 February 2026, marking the start of weekly operations.

Greater frequency/ Improved regional focus / Fewer intermediate calls means more predictable schedules.
