Dutch Cargo ship Minervagracht attacked in Gulf of Aden

Recently on 29th Sept’ 2025, the cargo ship Minervagracht was attacked in Gulf of Aden by missiles .

Impact –

• The attack resulted in substantial damage to the vessel, there was fire on board.

• 2 out of 19 crew members injured in the incidence

  
  

Safety Actions –

• The crew was able to extinguish the fire.

• Crew evacuation was done by air support provided by a helicopter

• European Naval Force through Operation Aspides is monitoring the situation.

  
  

  Till now, no one has taken the responsibility.

• Route – The vessel was enroute from Djibouti to Nhava Sheva port, India.
