New shipping service started from Ningbo to Felixstowe through Arctic route

Chinese Shipping Company, Sea Legend Shipping has launched the first regular service of China to Europe via Arctic Ocean.

The first ship of this service sailing from Ningbo on 23rd Sept/ 2025 and is expected to reach Felixstowe on 11th Oct’ 2025.

The route includes part of The Northern Sea route (NSR) which is the shortest water route to connect West to East. On documents the NSR is from Kara Strait to Bearing Strait. NSR complete route is part of the Arctic Ocean and is within the territory of Russian EEZ (Exclusive Economic Zone).
