Maersk adds Drop Off Fee from World to Zanzibar (via Dar es Salaam or Mombasa)

As per recent advisory released by Maersk, they will be implementing a drop off fee (DRP) from World to Zanzibar, effective from 21 November 2025 until further notice.

This fee will apply to containers discharged at Dar es Salaam or Mombasa and transhipped to Zanzibar under merchant haulage.

The charge is introduced to cover the cost of empty container evacuation.
