Israel drone attacked LPG tanker carrying 24 Pakistani, near Yemen Port

Recently, on 17th Sept’ 2025, Israeli drone attacked an LPG tanker at Ras Issa Port, Yemen, which was help by Houthis.

Impact – The drone attack led to fire at one of the tanks on the ship and the fire was extinguished by crew members.

Safety of the crew - There were total 27 crew member (The nationalities of the crew members were – 24 of Pakistan, 2 of Sri Lanka and 1 of Nepal). All the crew members were safe and after the explosion were held hostage by the Houthis for some time.

Later all the hostages were released.

  • Current location – Red Sea, near Bab Al Mandab strait
