Breeze Airways expands - New routes to Atlantic City, Brownsville & Bahamas grab attention in 2026
Breeze Airways is once again growing its network with a major expansion set to begin in May 2026. The U.S. leisure carrier announced new service to Atlantic City (New Jersey), Brownsville (Texas) and Nassau (Bahamas), plus the return of flights to San Antonio (Texas), as part of 14 new domestic and international routes. This marks another step in Breeze’s strategy to connect underserved airports with affordable, nonstop travel options.
For travellers in Atlantic City and Brownsville, Breeze’s entry adds fresh competition and new opportunities beyond existing carriers. In Atlantic City, the airline joins Spirit and Allegiant, broadening choices for travellers looking to fly beyond Florida destinations. Meanwhile, Brownsville gains a welcome boost in connectivity, with Breeze adding direct flights—such as service to Orlando—alongside the limited lineup of carriers currently serving the region.
Internationally, Breeze will begin flights to Nassau in the Bahamas, expanding its leisure footprint and giving vacation-seeking travellers another option to reach one of the Caribbean’s most popular destinations. This makes Nassau Breeze’s fourth international route after earlier expansions into Mexico and the Caribbean.
Finally, Breeze is bringing back San Antonio service, which the airline last operated in 2022, adding more connectivity to and from Texas.
These new routes reflect Breeze’s ongoing focus on linking mid-sized markets with direct flights at competitive price points, often with introductory fares as low as $39 one-way. Whether you’re a frequent flyer or planning your next vacation, this expansion brings more choices and value for summer and beyond.
